Feedback on the 49th English meeting

Unlike the many participants last time we were 8 people today! Here are the questions we talked about:

1-      How would you define "the good" and "the evil"?
2-      Do you believe in absolute good/evil? If yes, how do you support your hypothesis? If no, what makes the criteria of that relativity?
3-      Why do you think people like to be referred to as “good”? (i.e., what’s so good about being good?)
4-      What do you think are the origins of labling things/concepts as good or bad? (you may be considering sources like education, religion, though (rationalism, family, etc)
5-      Do you think you were born with the ability to distinguish between good and bad? )Are we pre-programmed with such an ability?)
6-      What are your suggestions/solutions to make “the good” rule the world in case you consider it to be the most qualified ruler?

 

We then played Mafia and I did have enourmous amounts of fun... . We left at 1 pm.

as hamed said we talked about the Topic and the questions that jafars printed for us, in that special place ;) ofcourse the weather was fine and it made every thing better ;)

8. Englishmeetings.com, Absolutely Good One

Hi everybody
Today was a Good meeting.
We discussed about the topic and questions above that Jafar had printed them for us.
I think that we talked about question 2,4,5 and 6 more than others.
The discussion was useful because different ideas and point of views mentioned there by everyone.

The discussion ended at about 10:30 and then Mafia game was began.
We started to play the game in English at first but the idea of speaking in English couldn't happen to the end, anyway the game was a great experience .Jafar's play helped us to win the polices twice. I really admire Jafar's play :-)

Sounds like you all had fun today & I really missed that. LOL
I was planing to come to see you after my exam but it took me so long to finish it & I couldn't make it to the meeting.
So JK is a player huh !
Lets check him on the next meeting :D
